The Adult and Non-Formal Education Department is under the General Education Sector of the Ministry of Education and is organized into two desks with a Chief Executive Officer. Its main objective is to develop a strategy to provide education opportunities to citizens who have not had access to education due to various problems. Therefore, it is implementing adult basic education, youth and adult vocational training, accelerated education, evening education, and distance learning programs as educational alternatives. It is developing and implementing strategies, implementation guidelines, frameworks, rules, and standards to make the programs effective.
